Watch the Hydrographic Dipping Process
Hydrographic Dipping for Every Surface.
The water-transfer printing process that wraps complex 3D curves, recesses and compound shapes no vinyl wrap or flat paint can reach. Choose a film print, pair it with a base coat colour, and we transfer it under water onto your part.

Seamless film on complex curves & spokes.
How Hydrographic Dipping Works
Hydrographic film floats on water, is activated into liquid ink, then wraps your part as it is submerged — conforming to every curve and recess.
Prep & Base Coat
Part is degreased, sanded, primed and sprayed with a custom base colour that shows through the semi-transparent film.
Float the Film
The print film is laid flat on the water surface of our dip tank and the graphic is activated into liquid ink.
Submerge Transfer
Your part is immersed — by hand or our robotic arm — and the ink wraps every curve, spoke and recess uniformly.
Rinse & Clear Seal
Washed, dried and sealed in automotive 2K clear coat for gloss depth, UV and chemical resistance.
Dipping Categories
If it can be painted and submerged in water, we can hydro-dip it.
Alloy Wheels & Rims
Full sets dipped via robotic arm for 360° uniform pattern transfer across spokes and deep dished rims — zero stretch distortion.
Automotive Engine & Interior
Engine covers, intake trims, dash panels, center consoles, door surrounds and strut braces — heat-rated base coats under-bonnet.
Motorcycle & Marine
Harley-Davidson tanks & fenders, BMW swingarms, jet-ski covers, boat dashes and instrument clusters — fuel & UV resistant sealing.
Custom & Bespoke Items
Restoration urns, gaming consoles, golf club heads, shoes, hard hats, toolboxes and architectural fixtures — if it can be painted & submerged, we can dip it.
Custom Motorbike Tanks & Guards
Harley-Davidson tanks, fenders and guards dipped in our authentic supplier prints. Pick any look below — flame skulls, blue flames, rainbow carbon weave, burl walnut woodgrain or red-eyed skulls — then drag the slider to reveal it on the identical tank.

Chrome to Woodgrain, Even on Plastic
Old instrument clusters, gauge bezels and dash trim often arrive with pitted, peeling or oxidized original chrome that can't be salvaged. We strip it back and re-dip the surface — in woodgrain, carbon, or any film from our catalogues — bringing tired interior trim back to a flawless, modern finish. The same process works on plastic and composite clusters that traditional plating can't touch. Drag the slider to see a failed-chrome cluster transformed into a rich burl walnut woodgrain.
- Stripped, prepped and re-dipped in our Burleigh Heads studio.
- Works on plastic & composite bezels that can't be electroplated.
- Sealed in automotive 2K clear coat — Matte, Satin or Gloss.

Camo Dipped Gun Stocks
Bring us a bare or refinished stock and we'll dip it in any camouflage or tactical film from our catalogues. Pick a camo pattern below, then drag the slider to reveal it applied to the same bare stock — woodland, desert and olive digital are all real water-transfer dips available from our studio.

Forest green, brown & tan organic blotches — classic hunting woodland camo.
High-Impact Powder-Coated Hydrographics
We developed a process that uses powder coating instead of liquid paints for both the base colour and the clear coat — a baked powder base under the film, and a baked powder clear over it. Because powder coating is oven-cured, this process is for metal parts only — plastics would melt in the bake. The result is a tough, chip-resistant hydrographic finish built for metal items that get bumped around, dragged and dropped. Drag the slider to see a bare steel bull bar transformed into a powder-sealed camo dip.
- Powder base coat under the film — harder and more chip-resistant than paint.
- Powder clear coat over the film for serious impact & abrasion resistance.
- Ideal for hand tools, spanners, sockets, metal toolboxes, bull bars, ute trays & work-site gear.
- Brand your gear: We can lay your company logo or emblem into a custom film so tradies' tools are tough, identifiable and stop walking off site.
- Available in Matte, Satin or Gloss over any print in our catalogues.

Brand Your Gear With Your Company Logo
Tradies throw their tools in the back of the ute, drop them on concrete and drag them across job sites — so standard paint and stickers don't last. Our powder-coated hydrographics seals your gear under a tough baked shell, and we can lay your company logo, emblem or pattern into a custom film so every spanner, socket and toolbox is branded, identifiable and built to survive the knocks. Tough finish, built-in branding, less gear walking off site.
- Custom film with your logo or emblem baked into the powder coat.
- Chip & abrasion resistant — survives drops, drags and daily site use.
- Great for tradie tools, socket sets, metal toolboxes & work-site gear.
